What would be a good song for me to sing for solo and Ensemble?

I am planning on singing a solo for this year but I want to come in knowing what I am doing and I want to have time to be able to practice before I tell my choir derector I want to do a solo. Please peoples I want a really good song to do! I would prefer the song to be for a Soporano. Thanks!
