Isn't it Funy how Since 07 Everytime Kobe doesn't Play in the Allstar Game the West loses but if he Plays?

Yes, Kobe is a great player. But I think it also has to do with the fact that Kobe takes everything so much more seriously than other players. Most guys treat the All-Star weekend as a huge party and get-together, and are there to have fun. Kobe seems to still be focused on winning. I mean, it's a known fact that Kobe hates to party and doesn't go clubbing, and works hard to the point of almost being OCD. That's not a fault, it's just his personality, I guess. Kobe seems to treat the All-Star game like any other game, instead of just a "talent show." Plus, he's aging and doesn't have much time to win such accolades.
