What should I write my song about?

I have to write a song for English about a midsummer nights dream. I have the background music recorded but I don't have any lyrics. I tried to write it about the story of the book, but it sounded absolutely stupid. If it's any help, my song has the same feel as we might fall apart by disco ensemble
