What eyeshadow should i use that wont bother my eyes and will still look pretty?

Tonight i"m going to a dance with all my friends and my crush and im going to buy eyeshadow and normal eye shadows usually make my eyes blood shot my eyes are blue and my dress is teal any body know what to use?
